报告摘要:Precision medicine is an emerging approach for disease prevention and treatment that takes into account people’s individual variations in genes, environment, and lifestyle. In this talk, I will start from how big data analytics is important to precision medicine. I will illustrate some of our sample applications of using big data for prediction medicine: (1) usage of large-scale genomic data for clinical diagnosis; (2) knowledgebase and decision support system for personalized medicine according to individual patient data; (3) multimedia electronic medical record system for effective clinics and medical education; and (4) household-level health App based on traditional Chinese medicine. These applications may have significant impact on the healthcare and lifestyle.
